Ginger Orange Shrimp Stir Fry

Yield: 4 Portions

Ingredients Needed

·         12 Each Shrimp ( Shelled & Deveined )

·         1 Tbsp Chief Chinese Seasoning

·         4 Tbsp Vegetable Oil

·         2 Tbsp of Minced Garlic

·         ¼ Cup Julienned Purple Onions

·         2 Tsp of Sesame Oil

·         ½ Cup of Julienned Carrots ( Blanched )

·         ½ Cup of Broccoli Florets ( Blanched )

·         ½ Cup Patchoi leaves

·         ¼ Cup of Julienned Green Sweet Pepper

·         ¼ Cup of Julienned Red Bell Pepper

·         ¼ Cup of Julienned Yellow Bell Pepper

·         3 Oz of Dry Egg Noodles (Boiled)

·         2 Tsp Chief Chow Mein Seasoning

·         2 Tbsp Chief Ginger Soy Sauce

·         ¼ Cup Orange Juice

·         1/4 Cup Chopped Chives

Method

Place shrimp into a small bowl and season with the Chief Chinese seasoning.

Place your noodles to boil, strain and set aside.

Place a large wok pot over high heat. When hot, add 2 Tbsp of vegetable oil, and swirl around the wok. Add the shrimp and quickly stir fry until shrimp turn pink on the outside (about two minutes)

Remove shrimp and place in a clean bowl ( Note: shrimp will still be raw )

Place wok back on the stove on medium to high heat for the stir fry and add remaining         2 Tbsp of Oil followed by the garlic and purple onions.

Toss quickly and add the sesame oil, carrots, patchoi, all the peppers and broccoli florets. Cook for three minutes tossing quickly.

Add the boiled egg noodles, followed by the par cooked shrimp.

Sprinkle in the Chief Chow Mein Seasoning, ginger soy sauce and orange juice.

Toss and cook for an additional two minutes.

Remove from the heat. Add your chives.  Serve in a pasta bowl and enjoy.
